Modify reparse point (Junction-point) of existing flexapp packages

Hi Liquidware,

It would be very helpful if the reparse point (junction-point) could be modified. This would save a significant amount of work when you’ve already created a package for one product from a vendor (e.g., C:\Program Files\[Vendor]\Product1), but need to package another product from the same vendor (e.g., C:\Program Files\[Vendor]\Product2).

If the vendor folder name is the same, you’re unable to mount the second package, which forces you to create a new package for both applications. Alternatively, you can choose a different install directory, but not all applications function correctly with such changes.

  Hi Vincent, we are planning this functionality in a future release of the FlexApp Packaging Console.  In the mean time, you might try the latest Client hot fix as it should resolve any issue with such overlap automatically: https://support.liquidware.com/hc/en-us/articles/360033876051-ProfileUnity-Hot-fix-List
