Ability to manually trigger a trigger point
AnsweredUse case: Users who log into multiple machines. User is about to get a new machine and wants to ensure that it will pull the profile from their primary. So on users current primary they could trigger it (rather that waiting for time interval or logging off) and then they can login to new device knowing whats on the share should be correct.

Hi Josh - thanks for the post! We have a file named LwL.ProfileUnity.TriggerLaunch.exe (C:\Program Files\ProfileUnity\Client.NET) that can be used for this purpose. It can be renamed so that you could have multiple different triggers for different purposes, also.
Create a new Trigger Point rule using Process Open trigger method with that filename. Then create a new Shortcut rule pointing to it. The user can use that shortcut to trigger the Portability Save. Hope that helps!
PS - That exe runs for 2 seconds and exits.

Hi Steven, thanks for the quick response! So I had tried that, but I don't see any new logs generated in %temp%\profileunity after the 2 seconds or so. Does it need any parameters passed to it? Our trigger point is for a Portability Save and is set on an interval.

You would need an additional trigger point rule copied from your existing one except changed from Interval to Process Open.
