Filter Wildcards

Would love to be able to use wild cards or pattern matching in filters.  For example, if a computer name is LQDWAR1000, it would be helpful to be able to define a filter that would evaluate to true for all computers with a name of ??DW*.  (All computers with DW as the third and fourth characters in the name.

"Contains" would technically work, but it would also include computers that have DW anywhere in the name, which is not desired.

  Hi Charlie - Thanks for the feedback - we will be enhancing filters and we will look to work in support for regex-like wildcards using your example.

  Hi Charlie, 6.8.7 was just release and it has a PowerShell option so you can write your own filters however you would like. This does not mean we won’t add this feature but now you can dream up any filter you want with in ProfileUnity.
