Problem:
Collector needs to be registered when there is no external database appliance (using local hub database for data storage). This is common for DMZ purposes. After registering, the Collector properties will fail to load on the Collector Administration page of the WebUI.
Resolution:
SSH or console into the hub and run the following commands:
sudo bash
cp /opt/lwl/bin/updatecolhba.sh /opt/lwl/bin/updatecolhba.sh.BACKUP
sed -i -e 's+/opt/tnt/var/backend/.dbcheck+/dev/shm/.dbcheck+' /opt/lwl/bin/updatecolhba.sh
diff /opt/lwl/bin/updatecolhba.sh /opt/lwl/bin/updatecolhba.sh.BACKUP
