Problem:
Users that do not have existing ProfileDisks receive a temporary profile upon the fourth logon to a persistent desktop, while users with existing ProfileDisks experience the same issue upon the third logon.
The issue is specific to the desktop and not the user(s) logging into it. For example, three separate users, each with an existing ProfileDisk, can logon to a persistent desktop and the third user will experience the issue even if it's their first time logging on to that particular desktop.
The first logon for user's without existing ProfileDisks do not factor into the issue. Meaning, numerous users that do not have existing ProfileDisks can logon to a persistent desktop and not experience the issue but if any three of said users logon again, the third user will be experience the issue.
Once the issue has occurred on a desktop, it does not happen again during any subsequent logon unless the desktop is rebooted, which appears to reset the count.
Resolution:
Upgrade the ProfileUnity client to version 6.8.7 R2 HF4 (9390).
