Prerequisites
An active Intune setup in your Azure environment
Administrator access to the Stratusphere UX Hub
A Windows 10/11 endpoint joined to Azure Active Directory
Downloaded Stratusphere UX CID Key from your Hub (includes Hub details pre-configured)
Microsoft Win32 Content Prep Tool from GitHub: Download here
Step 1 – Prepare the CID Key for Intune
Download the CID Key .exe from your Stratusphere UX Hub
Download and extract the Win32 Content Prep Tool from GitHub
Launch IntuneWinAppUtil.exe.

Provide the following:
Source folder: Path containing the CID Key .exe
Setup file: The CID Key .exe filename
Output folder: Destination for the .intunewin file
The tool generates an .intunewin package for deployment
Step 2 – Create the App in Intune
Log into Azure Portal
Navigate to Intune
Go to Client Apps → Apps → Add
Under App type, select Windows app (Win32)
Upload the .intunewin file created earlier
Step 3 – Configure Application Information
Name: Stratusphere UX Connector ID Key (or preferred name)
Description: Briefly describe the app purpose
Publisher: Liquidware
Logo: Optional—use the Stratusphere UX logo or similar
Company Portal settings: Not required for mandatory deployment
Step 4 – Set Installation & Uninstallation Commands

Install command:
CIDKeyInstaller.exe /s -
Uninstall command:
CIDKeyInstaller.exe /x /s/sensures a silent operation with no user interaction
Step 5 – Define Requirements
Operating system: Windows 10/11 (all versions) or specify minimum OS
Architecture: x64 or x86 as applicable
No additional hardware requirements necessary
Step 6 – Configure Detection Rules
Example (File-based detection):
Rule type: File
Path:
C:\Program Files\Liquidware Labs\Connector IDFile or folder:
tntgrd.exeDetection method: File exists
Step 7 – Assign the Application
In Intune, select the newly created app
Go to Assignments → Add group

Choose:
Assignment type: Required (automatic install)
Target groups: Your desired Azure AD groups
Notifications: Hide toast notifications for seamless installation
Save changes
Step 8 – Test Deployment
Sign in to a fresh Windows 10 device joined to Azure AD with a user account assigned the CID Key
After login, the CID Key will install silently in the background

Verify installation by checking:
Presence of the application in Program Files
Registration in the Hub Administrator console
