Time on Machine Changes When FlexApps are Layered – Liquidware Customer Support

Problem:

Time within Windows is changing when FlexApps are layered. Most likely the W32Time regkey was inadvertently captured in the package.

This issue was addressed in a 6.8.3 R2 hotfix. The fix is included in 6.8.4

Resolution:

Existing Packages:

On the FPC (FlexApp Packager Console) edit the packages deployed. The Editor should be the first option in package drop down.
You might have to remove assignments to the packages first or clone them and edit the cloned packages.
Once the editor is open look in the registry section.
Remove REGISTRY > HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Services\W32Time
Save and re-deploy the package

Update the 6.8.3 R2 Hotfix FPC for New Packages:

Download the latest 6.8.3R2 FPC installer.

To address the fpcsetup.exe that is downloaded from the ProfileUnity console, overwrite the existing fpcsetup.exe file in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity" on the ProfileUnity Console machine with the new one.
If possible, revert your current FPC machine back to a state prior to installing your current FPC version. If that's not an option, take a "before uninstall" snapshot, uninstall the current version, shutdown and take a "before hotfix" snapshot.
Copy the new fpcsetup.exe to your FPC machine and install it like normal.
Download and replace VirtFsService.exe.config (https://cdn.liquidware.com/support/ProfileUnity/6.8.3R2-Hotfix/VirtFsService.exe.config) on the FPC located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\FlexApp Packaging Console\VirtFsService\x64"
Download and replace vhd.exe (https://cdn.liquidware.com/support/ProfileUnity/6.8.3R2-Hotfix/vhd.exe) on the FPC located in "C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\FlexApp Packaging Console"
Shutdown the FPC and take an "after hotfix / clean state" snapshot that you will use to revert to between packaging efforts.
