Problem:
ProfileUnity was resolving the "User logon name" when mounting a ProfileDisk which caused some mounting issues in some cases. We now resolve the UPN logins to their corresponding samAccountName (pre-windows 2000 account name) to avoid these type of problems.
Resolution:
Note: Please note this fix is supported on 6.8.3 R2 and will be part of upcoming versions of ProfileUnity.
1. Please download the most recent lwl_cred_mgr*.dll or flexapp.zip from the hotfix KB here.
2. You then can replace these files on the master image in the ProfileUnity\Flexapp folder and put them into the Flexapp.zip on NETLOGON\Profileunity (or share) and refresh the desktops.
Note:
Everything related to ProfileDisk will then always use the "short name" for all paths even if you login using a user.long.name@domain.com.
The arrow shows which specific name will be used for ProfileDisk.
