Description
After installing ProU 6.8, sometimes the ProfileUnity and MongoDB do not start automatically after the server has been rebooted and need to be started manually to regain access the console.
Resolution
This can happen when the ProU server is resource constrained or located on slower storage.
To resolve:
- Logon to the ProU server as an Administrator.
- Go to Start>Run and type the following, followed by enter: msc
- Find the service called MongoDB.
- Right-click click the MongoDB service and go to Properties.
- Select the recovery tab and modify as follows:
6. Apply changes and close out of Services.
7. Open a command prompt and type: sc config ProfileUnity depend= MongoDB
8. Close command prompt window.
9. All ProU services should now start consistently on each reboot.
