Problem: Stratusphere Hub needs to be isolated from the internet. Therefore Connector ID agents need to register with a CID Collector instead of the Hub.
NOTE: 6.5.1+ can use the Collector name as a CID Key Callback DNS and allow agents to register via the Collector. Older versions do not have this functionality and may need the resolution below.
Possible Resolution(s): Change CID key Callback DNS Name setting to match a CID Collector's IP or fully qualified domain name. The CID key installers will be updated with that callback address, so any new CID installations will register that collector rather than the hub.
NOTE: If using Windows MSI installer or working on thin client machines, you will have to manually download C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\Connector ID\ca\public\mgrcert.pem from a working machine and place it on the machines trying to register with the collector. The mgrcert.pem file cannot be downloaded from a collector. This file is not unique so you may copy it from one machine to another without updating it.
Check your Collector Administration to find a CID Collector's IP or DNS Name.
Then change CID key Callback DNS Name in your Configuration tab to match the IP or fully qualified domain name of the CID Collector. Be sure the collector is either a CID or CID/Network collector, not just a Network collector.
Download the CID agent installer and install on your machine:
After the CID key agent is installed, verify the callback address by running the Connector ID application in the machine's control panel. The CID collector should appear next to Assigned Hub:
