Amazon AWS Desktop with DIA has issues with DIA applications after logoff leaving file structure behind

Problem:

During ProfileUnity logoff on Amazon AWS desktop the file structure is left behind even that the vhd of the DIA is detached. During subsequent logons this would cause virtfsservice to cause high CPU utilization. DIA applications might not work anymore. 

Symptoms:

DIA file strucure of the application left behind after logoff. Long Logoff delays. High CPU utilization caused by virtfsservice. ProfileUnity's Logoff scripts don't execute.

Possible Resolution(s): 

Edit local gpo (gpedit.msc)

Remove firefox.vbs from Windows Startup/Shutdown script and User Logon/Logoff Script

Verify that after each DIA capture the desktop is rebuild. Also follow best practice to create clean DIA packages by following this KB:
