Symptoms: Running update on Stratusphere appliance does not perform update but returns the above error message.
Possible Resolution(s):
This issue is most likely caused by the invalid proxy settings. If you are intended to use a proxy, then the proxy setting is likely incorrect, or it is unable to use the proxy to make the outbound connection. Please verify the settings.
To remove the invalid proxy settings, you will need to do the following steps:
- Logon to the console as root.
- 'vi /etc/yum.conf' and remove the proxy settings including proxy, proxy_username, and proxy_password. Go to the line that has the proxy setting and use VI command 'dd' to remove the selected line.
After making the change, return update process again.
