Problem: Can't update database appliance because there is proxy on the network.
Symptoms: Database appliance can't connect to LwL update server.
Possible Resolution(s):
To set up software update proxy
- vi /etc/yum.conf and add the following lines at the bottom (don't change other lines)
proxy=proxyserver.test.com
proxy_username=proxyuser
proxy_password=proxypassword
Note: In some cases proxy may not work, use the offline upgrade in those cases.
