Problem:
ProfileUnity client is not running during logon or logoff.
Symptoms:
ProfileUnity is not installed or does not log off.
Possible Resolution(s):
The classic way is to use gpresult /H gpo.html and look for startup.vbs and logoff.vbs and INI Path.
But sometimes restrictions will not show accurate results, or nothing is showing in "Computer Configuration" and in "User Configuration".
Follow those simple 3 steps to find all items in registry.
Open registry editor (Regedit)
Step 1) Search for "LwL.ProfileUnity.Client.Startup.exe"
Example:
located in: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy\Scripts\Startup\0\0
Step 2) Search for: "LwL.ProfileUnity.Client.Logoff.exe"
Example:
located in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Group Policy\Scripts\Logoff\0\0
Example:
Step 3) Search for: "INIPath"
Example:
Located in: HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity
