Problem:
After enabling WDAC Dynamic Code Security feature on Windows 11 22H2 the ProfileUnity Client stops working and generates WDAC events with event ID 3114.
Possible Solution:
- Download the following ZIP file and extract the contents to a new folder: https://cdn.liquidware.com/support/ProfileUnity/6.8.5/ProfileUnityClientDLLs_685ga2.zip
- Copy the extracted DLL files into the ProfileUnity Client's Client.NET folder and client.net.zip:
- On your master image(s): Place the DLL files into C:\Program Files\ProfileUnity\Client.NET folder
- Within the client.net.zip file on your deployment path: Place the DLL files into the client.net.zip using the method of your choice. If you extract the zip, copy the files in and re-zip, make sure you're only zipping the files that were extracted and not the actual client.net folder itself - There should not be a client.net folder within the client.net.zip.
- WDAC should now allow ProfileUnity Client to operate normally after a reboot.
