Problem:
The Configurations Management page will not load the saved configurations.
Symptoms:
The Configuration Management page will not load the saved configurations.The following error is seen in the C:\Program Files (x86)\Liquidware Labs\ProfileUnity\logs\ProU.log file:
ERROR - WebMessage Error: GetMore QueryFailure: { "$err" : "getMore executor error: Overflow sort stage buffered data usage of (xyz) bytes exceeds internal limit of 33554432 bytes", "code" : 17406 }.
Possible Resolution(s):
NOTE: If possible, the last member that updated any configuration, should log in. There is a good chance that the configuration page may still function for that member.
The following should not affect running configurations in the environment.
- From the Administration page, backup the database.
- In the same Database section on the administration page, lower the retention count from the default of 5 in the Configuration Revision Retention section.
- If the Configuration Management page is available to the last member that updated any configuration, click on the json icon for each configuration to create a json backup of the configurations.
- Delete the configurations.
- Import the saved JSON files to restore the configurations.
If no members have access to a functioning configuration management page, a support case will need to be opened to manually edit the database.
