Problem:
User logs off from VDI desktop session with 2 monitors (Desktop icons are on 2 monitors), than user logs in and off to a VDI session with 1 monitor (Desktop icons are compressed to 1 monitor), than user logs back in to VDI session with 2 monitors (Desktop icons are restored to 1 monitor).
Symptoms:
Desktop icons don't restore to a previous position.
Possible Resolution(s):
This is by design, we would save the last session the user logged off from.
However there is a workaround.
1) Setup FPC (FlexApp Packaging Console)
2) Download "Desktop Restore 64 bit"

3) Capture the application and make a small DIA application
4) Publish the application to the user's desktop now the user have an option to "Save Desktop" Setup and Restore 2 sessions later by selecting "Restore Desktop"
