Problem:
When packaging Tosca Commander an error may occur during playback.
Solution:
Editing the package to change parts of the registry will playback the package properly.
1. Package the application normally with the FlexApp Packaging Console
2. Playback the package with the FlexApp Packaging Console then click the Edit button on the FPC to edit the package registry section.
Rename the session manager key
HKLM\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager
To
HKLM\ControlSet001\Control\Session Manager 2\
Close the Edit
3. Playback the package again then open regedit and export the renamed key. Once exported deactivate the package.
4. In regedit, edit the exported registry and rename it back to Session Manager. (There are more than one “Session Manager 2” entries that needs to be changed back to “Session Manager”)
5. Open ProfileUnity configuration create an AppLauncher rule (as shown in the below example images). The rule will use that exported registry and it will import it at logon.
